Japanese Shipwreck
A small shipwreck in about 10 meter long of water is lies in shallow water from 3 until 15 meters from the beach on a depth of just a few meters in a beautiful coral garden. Like many dives in the area, this is a photographer’s paradise with fantastic macro opportunities.
Once you have explored the wreck, there is . Corals adorn the wreck and there is a spectacular coral slope laying just behind the wreck of time to move on to the reef beyond it and explore the marine life here. The wall reaches approximately 35 metres and You can expect to see a lot of macro life, with plenty of Nudebranches, Scorpion (leaf) Fish, shrimps, crabs, Pygmy Seahorse and so much more.

TULAMBEN
USAT Liberty Shipwreck
Located off the coast of Tulamben, Bali, Dive on most famous USS Liberty wreck also called USAT Liberty is a premier diving destination. The site can also be seen by snorkelling for non-divers. The wreck lies between 5 and 28 meters deep, lying on its right flanc. The bridge finds itself vertically sea side. The bow to the West, the stern to the East where we can still very well identify the huge helm. One of the two cannons is still visible under its turet to the front of the ship at a depth of 28 meters
A bit of History: the Liberty is a era cargo ship of 120 meters long in originally built in 1918), requisitioned by the American army during the Second World War . Anchored off the coast of Lombok in 1942 0n 11th of june , the ship was hit by a Javanese torpedo during World War II. As far as we know, nobody got hurt, but the ship was damaged badly.Then, the crew plan to tow the ship to Singaraja harbor (northern Bali) failed as the harbor was completely occupied, so the ship was intentionally stranded on the rocky beach of Tulamben, where it was unloaded.
The Liberty stayed on the beach from 1942 to 1963 when the earthquake that induced the eruption of the Mount Agung made the wreck slip towards the ocean at only 40 meters from the beach , libery it rests on its side just 30 meters from the shore, providing an easily accessible and captivating dive experience.. Since more than 50 years, Bali and the USAT Liberty Tulamben wreck are known across the world for the exceptional dives it offers. You may dive or snorkel this wreck comfortably, accessing it directly from the beach. A night dive is a highly recommendable option as well. This most famous dive site is a must for every diver and is therefore highly frequented located only 15 kilometers away from our dive center
Accessibility
In the middle of the Tulamben bay, all the dive clubs of Bali access it from the shore, given its location at only 30 meters from the beach. The 120 meters long wreck rests in between 5 and 28 meters in depth.
Life is everywhere on the wreck! You will see Humphead Parrot fish, schools of Trevally, Leaf Scorpion fish, Pygmy Seahorse, giant Barracuda, Frogfish, Groupers, Jack fish, Angel fish, Black Tip and White Tip sharks. If you are very lucky you may even encounter a Whale Shark, an Eagle ray
