A small shipwreck in about 10 meter long of water is lies in shallow water from 3 until 15 meters from the beach on a depth of just a few meters in a beautiful coral garden. Like many dives in the area, this is a photographer’s paradise with fantastic macro opportunities.
Once you have explored the wreck, there is . Bunutan is one of the prettiest a mesmerizing drift dive sites in Amed. dive to fly with medium strong currents in crystal clear waters coral gardens to over 50m deep and a total length of over 500m . Starting from a sandy bottom to a corner with excellent fish life a gigantic eel garden appears followed by a gentle slope with huge sponges & beautiful of Giant Barrel Sponges, ranging from 18 to 35 meters deep. Just float along and look out for Sharks (Black tip, White tip and the occasional bigger species), Barraccudas, Giant tunas, Giant Trevally and many different species of Moray Eels , Rays. pygmy seahorses & frog fishes.

USAT Liberty Shipwreck

Located off the coast of Tulamben, Bali, Dive on most famous USS Liberty wreck also called USAT Liberty is a premier diving destination. The site can also be seen by snorkelling for non-divers. The wreck lies between 5 and 28 meters deep, lying on its right flanc. The bridge finds itself vertically sea side. The bow to the West, the stern to the East where we can still very well identify the huge helm. One of the two cannons is still visible under its turet to the front of the ship at a depth of 28 meters

A bit of History: the Liberty is a era cargo ship of 120 meters long in originally built in 1918), requisitioned by the American army during the Second World War . Anchored off the coast of Lombok in 1942 0n 11th of june , the ship was hit by a Javanese torpedo during World War II. As far as we know, nobody got hurt, but the ship was damaged badly.Then, the crew plan to tow the ship to Singaraja harbor (northern Bali) failed as the harbor was completely occupied, so the ship was intentionally stranded on the rocky beach of Tulamben, where it was unloaded.

The Liberty stayed on the beach from 1942 to 1963 when the earthquake that induced the eruption of the Mount Agung made the wreck slip towards the ocean at only 40 meters from the beach , libery it rests on its side just 30 meters from the shore, providing an easily accessible and captivating dive experience.. Since more than 50 years, Bali and the USAT Liberty Tulamben wreck are known across the world for the exceptional dives it offers. You may dive or snorkel this wreck comfortably, accessing it directly from the beach. A night dive is a highly recommendable option as well. This most famous dive site is a must for every diver and is therefore highly frequented located only 15 kilometers away from our dive center

Tulamben Coral Garden is a dive site that is also very suitable for snorkeling Located just a short distance from the beach, this dive site is a stunning coral garden with a gentle slope that stretches from the At a depth of around 5 meterst to 18 meters deep we find several objects such as astone statues and various sculptures planted there as artificial reef. Coral is growing and range marine species , including reef fish, nudibranchs, beautiful blue-yellow ribbon eels, and juvenile white-tip reef sharks commonly found life is healthy in the shallows. A beautiful site very easy to dive and snorkel!

Here we can find strange and rare creatures, such as the famous harlequin shrimp, ghost pipefish, mimic octopus, nudibranch, frogfish, dragonets, and a myriad of cleaning stations where you’ll find morays and a diverse array of colorful fish.

Tulamben, Bali

Just a few meters from the shore lies a small shipwreck that Known as the Boga wreck, The Boga wreck was sunk in 2011 to form an artificial reef . Previously it was a dutch built cargo ship, about 40 meters long and is lying between 18-45 meters on a sandy bottom More and more fishes live in this place, in Kubu. This wreck has the tendency to slip down the slope each year. Its maximum depth was only 30 meters originally on your decent you can frequently see octopus, , Moray eels, Lion Fish but also schools of Barracuda or Trevally nudibranchs, lobsters, A family of Batfish and nice corals. After a short 5 minute swim suddenly a dark shape will start approaching and the impressive view of the bow of the Boga will appear. Starting at about 16-18 meters you athen can explore the wreck swimming around the structure of the boat and Come and take a photo of yourselves at the wheel! Statues, cars and other objects have also been sunk with the boat which give incredible aspect to the shipwreck, it is definitely one of the best wrecks in Bali!

Tulamben Wall

The rugged wall reef extends out to sea, with the starts at a depth of only 3m and the wall reaches a max depth of over 80 meters! Covered in corals, the wall is home to many different type of marine life.this dive sites is easily accessible directly from the beach . Cleaner shrimps abound, with large fish congregating in the overhangs, waiting to be cleaned. A diverse array of schooling fish can be observed around the corner of the wall, while invertebrate animals are also commonly encountered at this location.
